The politician’s clothes even carry a specific communication message for a campaign. A candidates dress may be deliberately designed to convey a specific message or suggest the way he/ her or his team want his image to be perceived by the citizen. Communication advisors usually insist on certain neutrality in politician’s clothes, as they are easily noticed. Further, it is to his advantage to have some individual eccentricity of dress, something entirely his own a sort of trademark or identification tag that advertises him to the world and endears him to his constituents..
In general the American politician does well to dress in an intelligent, inartistic manner, clothing himself in a way that appeals to the people as their own.
